Come on guys compared to what Jonathan Miller got away with today with his gal pal this is noodling. Let Fischer clean up after the fact like Miller did.

It seems like selective prosecution, selective investigation, selective give a shit! Every once in a while someone is made out to be the example, maybe Fischer will draw the lucky number!

Before you get so hell bent against Greg Fischer -- why don't you become informed.

Yes, Horne is a good candidate, no doubt. It will be hard to decide between Fischer & Horne. I'll probably swing toward Fischer because I've known him for over 30 years.

Just because YOU don't know Fischer does not mean he is coming from no where as a viable candidate.

He has done so much for the community over the last 30 years. You have no idea what you are talking about by saying someone is pimping him. Also, he is not a salesman for candy bars.

Greg Fischer has donated so much of HIS money and his talent to the community. Ever hear of the "Roads to You" tour? Do you know how hard Fischer worked to get that going? Do you know how many people that tour helped? Do you have any idea how much of Fischer's own money he has used to HELP small start up companies? Through his financial support to small start-up companies there are a lot of people employed today that otherwise would NOT be working.

Greg's father was Secretary under John Y. Brown II -- that's why Brown II came out in support of Fischer.

It might be a good idea to become informed before you start saying things about people that you know nothing about.

BTW: I guess Miller gets an "alleged" breaking the law pass because he has contacts in the governor's office - you know it is only a major state law violation that he's accused of breaking ... Personnel Board did NOT say Miller was innocent the Personnel Board said they will NOT to investigate Miller giving Parker 280% raises in 8 years... which is an average of 35% raise per year WHICH is a violation of state personnel laws.

Dear Rural Democrat -

Your source for political law, Page One, might not be as good as source as you think.

Seems as though Mr. Greg Fischer CAN LEGALLY use his office, letterhead, phones, fax, SECRETARIAL ASSISTANT, copy machine, word processor, etc. TO CONDUCT his senate campaign. It is NOT against the laws for Fischer to use his corporation(s), employees or equipment in his senate bid.

Read the Advisory Opinion from the Registry of Election Finance

Mr. Robert Blau
c/o Robert Blau for Senator
3699 Alexandria Pike
Cold Spring, Kentucky 41076

Dear Mr. Blau:
You have requested an Advisory Opinion from the Registry of Election Finance as to whether you may use property owned by Jolly & Blau, P.S.C. for the benefit of your campaign for State Senator. This property would include telephones, copiers, fax machines, and word processing equipment. Also, you asked whether you may list your office number on your campaign letterhead.

Any use of corporate property in your campaign must be documented in detail, including an itemized bill from the corporation to your campaign for any use of phones, fax machines, copies, word processors, secretarial assistance, etc. Also, those bills must be paid by check and must be retained, and you must report all such transactions when you report expenditures by your campaign. Otherwise, any use of such property could constitute an in-kind contribution to your campaign by a corporation, and Kentucky law expressly prohibits corporate contributions.

You may include your office phone number on your campaign letterhead so long as any expense incurred by the corporation as a result thereof (i.e. collect calls) are handled in the manner prescribed above.

If you have an further questions, please fell free to contact our office at (502) 564-2226.
Sincerely,
Timothy E. Shull
General Counsel
Registry of Election Finance

--- Does Page One and/or Rural Democrate know the difference between a BILL and an inkind contribution?

So far this blog is batting in the 1000's.

They've been totally wrong and uninformed about who Greg Fiscer is and why he IS such a good viable candidate

.... and ...

.. this blog is WRONG when they accuse Fischer of breaking any laws when Fischer has NOT broken any laws.

Great letter provided to PROVE Greg is NOT breaking any campaign laws.

Miller, now there's a law breaker.

Maybe Jake wants to post false claims that Fischer is breaking laws because Jake is for Andrew Horne?

Maybe Jake has ulterior movtives? Maybe Jake's unfounded, untrue accusations are suspect because he backs Horne?

Maybe Jake isn't as smart as he thinks he is. It took about 2 minutes on the Net to find that Advisory Opinion above.

Maybe Jake does NOT care about accuracy, maybe Jake wants to SLANDER Greg Fischer with his untrue, BIAS accusations.

Maybe Mr. Fischer will sue Jake for slander if he does not retract his untrue allegations about Fischer?

Newsflash: Fischer's running a federal race. Not a state race. KREF doesn't apply.

Further, PLEEEEASE sue me for reporting the truth, sweet cheeks. Do it. The publicity would be amazing.

Also-- We've said previously that Fischer would need to pay for the corporate contribs. So I'm not sure what your panties are in a bunch about.

Jake is wrong. I can prove Jake is wrong by the FEC own laws.

But first, Jake knows he is wrong. Jake is intentionally and falsely accusing Fischer of breaking and/or skirting federal laws with malicious intent. The only reason Jake is accusing Fischer of breaking federal laws is because Jake wants Fischer's opponent to win. When Jake falsely and maliciously accuses Fischer of breaking federal laws -- that's called SLANDER. I can prove Jake is wrong from the FEC website.

From the FEC.

“How do I register as a candidate for federal office?
If you are running for the U.S. House, Senate or the Presidency, you must register with the FEC once you (or persons acting on your behalf) receive contributions or make expenditures in excess of $5,000. Within 15 days of reaching that $5,000 threshold, you must file a Statement of Candidacy (FEC Form 2 [PDF]) authorizing a principal campaign committee to raise and spend funds on your behalf. Within 10 days of that filing, your principal campaign committee must submit a Statement of Organization (FEC Form 1 [PDF]). Your campaign will thereafter report its receipts and disbursements on a regular basis. Campaigns should download the Campaign Guide for Congressional Candidates [PDF] for more information on the laws that apply to them.”

Pretty clear that Fischer could have spent up to $5000.00 BEFORE filing for office. Then after he spent $5,000.00 he still had 15 days to file Statement of Candidacy … then 10 days after that … he would file his Statement of Organization.

So, as I said, Jake is wrong if he doesn’t think a candidate for US Senate can have expenditures BEFORE filing to run. WRONG AS RAIN and wrong with malice.

Jake was wrong when he wrote: "conducting campaign business via a corporate email account on corporate equipment is a violation of campaign finance law. That sort of activity? It’s considered a corporate contribution and doesn’t fly with the FEC."
--- Jake's WRONG. So long as Fischer's corporation bills Fischer's campaign at a non-discounted rate for any and all use of the corporation's equipment that's fine and no federal laws are broken.

Jake was wrong when he wrote: "But there’s a problem with that– Greg Fischer hasn’t officially announced his candidacy, so paying for services or receiving contributions at this point doesn’t jive with FEC regulations and campaign finance laws."

--- Jake's WRONG. The FEC says that Greg has up to 15 days AFTER he has met the $5,000.00 expenditure threshold to file. No federal laws broken there.

Heck, Jake doesn't even know how much Fischer has expended yet on his campaign.

I like Andrew Horne and I like Greg Fischer -- how dare Jake make up lies and tell people that he knows Fischer's breaking federal laws when he has no idea what he's talking about. What a malicious little man that Jake is.

Like I said on my own site to the coward who remains anonymous:

"The $5,000 mark pertains to the requirement of FILING one’s candidacy for federal office. Meaning, that’s when one has to saddle up or disavow. And that’s the point at which one can no longer be considered testing the waters.

And how are we to know that more than $5,000 worth of work hasn’t been performed? We don’t. Which you may, I don’t know, be able to ascertain from the QUESTION MARK in the heading of the story about Fischer breaking campaign finance law.

Regardless of ANYTHING - corporate contributions are illegal, as I said. I also said days ago that his campaign would *have* to reimburse. And also said that would be difficult since he wasn’t an announced candidate.

Come to think of it… Spending time registering domain names, negotiating hosting contracts, working with web developers, recruiting staff - that all takes a lot of time. Time which an employee of a corporation would have to be paid for. And I’m doubting his web-savvy employee comes cheapy. Not to mention going to Washington, D.C. and traveling the state as he’s alleged. That’s expensive. I bet dollars to donuts he’s spent WELL over five grand."

P.S. Thanks for calling me little. Feels great to hear that after shedding nearly 80 lbs.

I don't know squat about Fischer but his enemies are making me like him already. At least Jake has called out Jonathan Miller for being a hypocrite(at least) but Horne is no great shakes as a candidate as far as I can tell. Why not just let Fischer tell his story without all the small, noodling bitching fer cryin out loud.

If thats really your feeling, why r u here bitching? fer cryin out loud.

Woooo hooo! I got me a vote! That makes 4!

Have you people ever heard Horne speak? Bring your No-Doze.

Shack, Seems your pal Jake Payne might be WORSE than Nickolas. Not only does Jake delete posts ... he threatens to find people's identity and send them letters and do who-knows what else to them.

Jake wrote:
"The AOL threat isn’t a threat - it’s a promise. Post the same shit over and over again and you won’t find it so funny. Ask the father & son team if they thought it was funny when they received a letter from someone they didn’t want to hear from."

Jake deleted the reply:

Jake,
You sound like a Jethrow with your threats and your lack of knowledge on the laws.

As for me posting the same thing over and over … I’m merely pointing that YOUR repetitive posts are lies and wrong. If you would stop saying the same lies over and over, I’d stop posting that you’re lying and I’d stop posting that you’re wrong.

Any lawyer can tell you that the burden of proof is on the accuser. You and the GOP party who are accusing Fischer of breaking federal laws have to prove your accusation. We will see how the FEC rules. But just because YOU and the GOP think Fischer broke laws does not mean he broke laws.

Finally, your threat to me. Your threat to find me and start sending me letters etc.

Well kid, your blog has been copied and the copies of your threats to me have already been given to the authorities. So you better pray to God nothing happens to me, or anyone close to me, because it would be a real shame for the authorities to think you came through on your threats to me.

And people wonder why some stay anonymous — sheesh Jake, take a deep breath and grow up!

Who’d a thunk it … Jacob Payne and the GOP unite to throw mud on the same candidate. HAHAHAHAHAHA
The GOP’s motives are clear … they know Fischer could beat McConnell.
Jake’s motives are clear … he knows Fischer could be Horne and Jake backs Horne.
Jake aligning with the GOP. Well Jake either you believe the GOP or the GOP believes you … too bad you’re both wrong and the FEC will rule."

More of Jake's un-democratic hatred.

"16 Anonymous // Jan 17, 2008 at 9:56 pm

Payne, you kill me. You actually think AOL will disclose the real name of a screen name holder without a subpoena? Or that you could get a subpoena just out of curiosity?

Do you really hate Fischer that badly or do you just have your nose up Horne’s butt so far that you are breathing out his mouth?

I don’t remember you all telling anyone to stay out of the governor’s race, that you had a “consensus candidate.” IIRC it was open season for any Democrat who wanted to run to do so. Why the double standard for the Senate race, huh huh huh?

"17 jake // Jan 17, 2008 at 9:58 pm

Of course I do. How do you think I found out HFH and her dad were spamming me with “faggot” comments the first week and a half we were online in August? All you have to do is prove ill intent or a violation of your rules/requests/general operating procedure. Freely admit that the person who obtained the order probably had a grudge to grind in that instance, though.

That didn’t happen in the gubernatorial primary because there were a bunch of lackluster candidates. No one with political weight. Any one of them (save Steve Henry and Otis the Limo Man) could have walked over Fletcher to victory without lifting a finger."

Shack,

BTW: in case you're wondering what was posted over and over, just read the posts on your blog regarding the lies Jake was spreading about Greg Fischer...

I guess the poster hit a nerve with Jake, a "truth-hurts" nerve. Jake must not like people pointing out when he's wrong. Sounds a lot like Nickolas, huh?

Oh well, just like BGR I suppose I'm banned from Jake's misleading blog too. Jake is more violent than Nickolas though.

You're full of shit. I told you on Page One you were put on moderated status because of the bile you're spewing over and over and over.

You wanna check the voter file? Do it. I'm not posting birthdates.

I didn't lie about shit - the Courier-Journal even published an article about what I've written and a complaint was officially filed. So. I seem to be the one WITH the credibility you're lacking.

Get a grip and move on.

Shack - Yup, I've been banned from Jake's website. He's acting so much like Mark Nickolas.

Funny thing is, I tried to post a comment on his thread where he has accused "all" of Greg Fischer's family of being registered democrats -- naturally he refuses to substantiate that -- anyway, I tried to post a comment (copied below here) and he replied back to me on his blog - in the last paragraph of his 6:07 post - so at least Jake IS reading my 'banned' posts.

HA HA HA HA - what a guy, that Jake.

You see, in order to look up someone's party registration you need their birthdate. Jake claims he has the birthdates of Fischer whole family -- but refuses to back that up with proof either.

whatever ...

here's my banned post:
"Jake - why do you keep deleting my posts? You really remind me of Mark Nickolas - he deleted people who said he was not telling the truth when he would refuse to substantiate his untruthful threads ... sound familiar?

Greg's father was secretary of the cabinet under Governor John Y. Brown II (D) ... are you saying Greg's father is a republican?

If you cannot prove, or refuse to substantiate your claim the Fischer's are registered republican ... then maybe you are making a false claim?

Nickolas use to spout of misleading information and never show proof - um ... because he was lying.

If you truly have proof the Fischer's are all registered Republican prove it - or maybe people will think you aren't being on the up and up?

Oh shoot, will you delete this too? Ya, know, I have noticed one difference between you & Nickolas - you threaten people, like above. And apparently you may have lied to AOL to get the information you allegedly got from AOL. I've sent your comment (above) to AOL and I'm waiting to hear why they gave you the information that is only allowed to given under power of subpoena- I'll let you know what they say.

Oh one more thing, your methods of intimidation and threats to silence people doesn't work too good in the USA ...

YOU, Jake, do not act much like a democrat."

--- Jake read it at least but he doesn't want his readers reading what I wrote. Why is that? Maybe bec. Jake's telling another untrue story about Fischer a.k.a. lies.

Jake,

I'm guessing you won't post the birthdates because maybe you don't have their birthdates?

If you can't back up what you say then what you print, about a man's family that you hate, is MEANINGLESS and might even be UNTRUTHFUL?

Fact is, you've helped Horne raise money in the past & you were pissed off when he lost to Yarmuth and NOW... THIS TIME ... YOU will say anything, true or false, to help Horne win. That's raunchy, you're raunchy to do that ... and I bet Horne is NOTHING like YOU.

You're making Horne look bad when you do that ya know.

Whatever, without you substantiating what you print, then ... what you print is meaningless and given your agenda, what you write is probably not the whole truth.

Jake, Again, you're not telling the truth. The comments I posted WERE on your blog and now are deleted. The comments of mine you deleted have the timestamp & date on them. check it out below.

As for YOU and the GOP going after Fischer with false claims ... typical. In politics the candidates opponents often go after the candidate with FALSE claims just to make the candidate look bad.

In fact, I remember one candidate for office who had a BOGUS complaint filed against him, but he won. His name was Justice Bill McAnulty. Mark Nickolas, who supported McAnulty's opponent, filed a BOGUS complaint against McAnulty... the complaint was found to have NO merit AND... Bill McAnulty won the Supreme Court Race. So much for BOGUS complaints filed against candidates for office, huh.

Anyway, check out the date & timestamp from the post that WAS on your blog but now has been deleted.

Shack, I just read Jake's post over at BGR. Let me say, he's lying again if he told you or showed you doctored screenshots of me allegedly posting 147 times in 24 hours. I haven't posted 147 times on his blog since it started. In fact, I never heard of his blog until yesterday. You believe who you want, but I am serious as a heart attack when I say he has doctored and falsified those screenshots that he says he showed you.

I've already sent my complaint to AOL. My complaint illustrates, from copying his blog threads where I posted, that he is falsifying screenshot data to try to get a bogus subpoena against me. He's basically going to have to lie to criminal authorities which is OBSTRUCTION OF JUSTICE and ILLEGALLY FILING FALSE POLICE REPORT.
I have told AOL he is lying and they will be able to verify my claim by checking MY computer log. Once he files a false police report to get a subpoena and AOL verifies he has doctored evidence Jake might find himself in JAIL.

I don't care if he doesn't like Fischer or if anyone else doesn't like Fischer. So long as what is printed is truth, I don't care. It's when lies are printed that I will point the lies out. I did that on Nickolas' blog and any other blog where I feel the people are intentionally misleading their readers.

You remember how horrible it was to read lies on Nickolas' blog and then have him lie about the lie and then have him delete the truth. Well, Jake's blog is no different. Only now, Jake is falsify information and I'm letting the authorities know. I think Jake's got a screw loose.

On BGR he claims he has shown you "screenshots with 147 comments in 24 hours" claiming the alleged 147 comments come from the same person, me.

If he showed you 'screenshots' of 147 comments from me even 24 months - Then, Jake has "doctored" or falsified the screenshots he showed you.

Yesterday: I debated with under the name:
'Jake doesn't know everything"
I commented 5 times on his "Greg Fischer’s Familial Ties" article which are still on there.

Today: Under the same thread:
I commented 1 time "No proof Fischer's are GOP"
and 1 comment under the same thread "Jakedaliar"

Yesterday in the thread "More of Fischer Breaking the Rules?",
I commented 11 times using the name "Jake doesn't know everything" name,
and 1 time on the same article as "hard to know everything."

Today, the deleted posts are here on your website count them 3.

That's a total of:
5+1+1+11+1+3 (deleted - here) = 22 total posts.

The copy I put on your blog from "anonymous" was not me.

as for the faux email addresses he put on his blog to find me: well I hate to tell him but Kyjake08@gmail.com TAINT ME. The other ones are. And, yes, they are all bogus email addresses. As in, do not exist, as far as I know anyway. I don't think it's a crime to post a non-existent email address anymore than it is a crime to use a fake name. If he files a false criminal report he will have a lot more to worry about than Greg Fischer.

Me: eatmyboots@msn.com
Me: kernst2231@yahoo.com
Me: jakedaliar@yahoo.com
Not me: kyjake08@gmail.com

Shack, It was just pointed out to me that Jake has posted five IP addresses on his blog to try to find me. Only one of those IP address he posted is mine and I won't say which one it is. But, since I was posting on your blog, at the same time, with similar posts you probably know which is mine.

I've reported him to AOL-legal and we'll see what they say.

I'm for Andrew, and don't think much of Fischer.

That being said, this Jake dude is one scary MF. I wish he would get aboard som eother train because he is going to scare off more people from Horne. Andrew is a good Democrat and no way would put up with the slander rag that Page One is

You know, Greg Fischer's family is tied to many republican elites. Is he just posing as a democrat to help out his fellow millionaires? His brother was seen on his television show fishing with George Bush and Senator Stevens, R-Alaska. Another family member is very close with Mitch McConnell's wife, Elaine Chao. Kind of makes you wonder, huh?
