Kentucky 72 - Florida 85 and it could have been a worse. Kentucky played an excellent first half against the 5th ranked Florida Gators, shooting the lights out and putting up 43 points in the first half. Kentucky showed their true colors early in the second half as the lethargic offense and fouls soon set the pace for the thumping to come.
Historical Season? Yes the Kentucky Wildcats managed to complete a season WITHOUT defeating a to 25 ranked opponent. The last time the Wildcats could brag about that accomplishment - 1974. This season has been a moral disaster as UK finishes the regular season at 20 wins and 10 losses, we finished 9-7 in SEC play achieving 4th place in the SEC East. We should play the first game March the 8th at 1:00PM in the SEC Tourney. The Wildcats will likely face Auburn in the first round. On Friday March the 9th if the Wildcats win, we should face Ole-Miss or Miss St. The Cats should be an 8th or 9th seed in the NCAA Tourney and you know what happens if we win that game , yep #1 seed stomping!
Tubby needs to go and we need to hire the FL coach.
