This is probably the best news Attorney General Jack Conway has heard in a long-long time as Lt. Governor Jerry Abramson announced that he would not run for Governor in 2015.
Now it appears the fear of an outright split of the Louisville vote will not happen. If Abramson would have ran it would have all but destroyed Conway's chances at grabbing the Commonwealth's top elected post, if he decides to run in 2015. But it may be bad news for other potential candidates that would have benefited greatly by a split Louisville vote.
