This is a study into the possible, and horrible, scenario that Donald Trump wins the popular vote for President but Clinton wins the Electoral College. Yes, it's happened before but no time in America's history is the nation as divided as today. The fractures within the soul of this nation are chasms deep as the pit of Tartarus and this presidential election will fill those chasms with venom one way or the other.
On one side we have a GOP Governor in KY, Matt Bevin, who recklessly suggested that bloodshed may be required if the pervasive nature of Progress politics infects the Conservative inner-sanctum so much so an amputation may be required to heal the body. We have a Presidential candidate who either foolishly or purposely, only two options folks, makes subtle innuendo that he may endorse violent acts against Hillary Clinton. It doesn't matter what I believe all that matters is the belief of the informed citizen and informed doesn't always mean intelligently informed.
The other side of the isle has savored their 2008 victory. The bold fists of the worker emblazoned with a blood red background marches proudly through America. A full blown socialist revolution has already occurred, it's on its 7th year and it's not on life support, it's thriving within American culture like no other movement in American history. The choice weapon of the Progressive is a stone fortress and within is held their unmovable ideology. At the same time the backbone of Progressive operations is hiding within a dark cocoon globalist agenda.
In the middle we have the people. The urban American has the reigns of the Presidential palace, thoroughly, while heartland America cry in their Budweiser because the days of their dominance are over. This demographic are, regrettably, ready to fight to get it back. They view the encroachment of the Progressive armies as a call to arms, not in the romantic political sense, but in the spirit of 1776, a truly dangerous spirit that should not be marginalized.
So we get to the meat and potatoes of the discussion; what if Trump overwhelmingly wins the popular vote and Clinton wins the crown of President? We have to really crunch the numbers to get a sense of is this even possible.
We have experienced wild transitions in states that were 50/45 one party or the other to 60/35 in one distinct direction in the last 4 to 6 years. They have gravitated toward the urban agenda. The metro areas of Virginia and Michigan are two that could have went either way in years past but are now, in many political analyst's minds, solid Blue States.
Virginia, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Colorado
North Carolina, Ohio, Florida and Nevada
Who Wins? Hillary Clinton
How is this possible? And how is it possible that Clinton could lose the popular vote?
We also must look at the fervor in which each candidate's constituencies are getting out the vote for their candidate. The experienced political operative already knows the Democratic machine is much more effective in GOTV or get out the vote operations. I am not speaking of a GOTV ground game scenario here, I'm speaking of an almost religious movement in the Heartland for Trump at this point in time. We must consider that the turnout for Trump may be as high as 80% in some if not the majority of heartland states while voter motivation for Clinton is very low. The urban areas will most likely carry her to the White House with a far less turnout, maybe as low as 35% or lower in some metro states like New York or Los Angeles. The only thing that may stop this nightmare from occurring is a heavier than usual vote for the third party candidates.
The numbers don't lie:
In 2012 the turnout (Or vote percentage) for GOP Presidential Nominee Mitt Romney was 47.2% while Obama's turnout was 51.06%. If we do some simple math and consider the rural vote gushes at 75 to 80% on average on election day Trump could easily win the popular vote without much help from Clinton. We can also say the religious vote with be lopsided toward Trump which suggests a huge rural turnout while Black voter turnout may be low because of the lack of enthusiasm for Clinton . President Obama is all but shaming the Black community into voting over the weekend. Enthusiasm for Clinton within urban areas is very low and that is not a secret. If we have a 40 degree and rainy east coast on election day I would suggest that Hillary, while winning these urban states, will experience a 20 to 30% drop in voter turnout, maybe higher.
Clinton could very easily find herself down 7.5 million votes lower than Obama's 65 million votes in 2012. This is a very conservative estimate, she could be down as much as 9 million votes because of urban voter apathy. That's to also suggest that Trump stays mostly pat with roughly 60 million votes matching Romney's 2012 totals. We haven't even factored in the probable surge in turnout for Trump on election day. Clinton can still beat Trump like a drum in these urban states and find herself winning the electoral college while losing the National popular vote. This would suggest that Trump, factoring in third party candidate totals, gained the majority of popular votes by around 1 million votes.
Now we factor in the Trump turnout surge. If he experiences a rise of 25% on average in voter turnout, and handily defeats Clinton in these states, Trump could receive roughly 63 to 65 million votes to Clinton's 58 to 61 million votes. If this day of the dead occurs it may in fact set off what many are predicting to be a revolution.
Could you image the headlines. Trump wins by 5 million votes loses election! I cannot imagine a more explosive scenario for the beginnings of REAL hostilities between the government and the people. I am not a believer in the boring Alex Jones model, that everything is a conspiracy and every attack is a false flag government ran op. I do believe that the smart people in D.C. are sweating this scenario, they are paralyzed with fear that Trump may carry the popular vote to such a degree that it sets off a series of events that results in bloodshed.
The call to arms isn't just bellowed by the beer belly beasts of rural america. These horrible calls are being carried by sitting governors, congressmen and most of the protestant public. We have seen a mass mobilization of Homeland Security and our police toward a more militaristic model. The days of "may I help you?" are over. I am pro police, not anti police, but when shots are fired, not by foreign inspired terrorists, but by our own people; what do the police do? What really happens what preppers call SHTF day? All I am saying is I listen more than I speak, I study more than I teach and Rural America is ready to blow. If Trump defeats Clinton by more than 2 million votes and loses the election I believe the fire is lit. Maybe someone can heal the nation and put the fire out but I wouldn't count on it.
Many will read this and think I am absolutely nuts. While there will be many that will agree with every single line I wrote today. The facts are this nation is divided along lines that will not be compromised by either side. Both sides are dug in and the mass media machine has fallen, they have lost the ear of America, probably for good. The pulpit is not CBS or CNN those that mold the public consciousness, Facebook, Drudge and others have taken their place. This occurred in 2006 to 2008 and the Progressives transformed America, well I have a feeling it's the Heartland's turn and they carry guns. I do not support either side, I do not support mass violence in the streets by either side. I am just the lonely minstrel who is signing a song of doom for America, that's it.
