Its about time! Looks like we have some pissed off Southeastern Kentucky folk and they have started a blog that will deal with poliical corruption directly. I like the idea and I really want them to succeed. So I have agreed to crosspost a few of thier stories and pimp them on the Twitter box. So click through and welcome the Kentucky Politcal Corruption Watch.
Here is the email they sent..........
And my head is slightly swollen because The Rural Democrat appears to have inspired these folks into taken action. Thats why we do what we do.
Rural DemocratPlease help us get the word out about a new blog called Kentucky Political Corruption (Watch). We intend to expose the underbelly of political corruption in Kentucky. We live in Southeastern Kentucky so most of our reports will concentrate on ground zero for political corruption in Kentucky.Your blog really did inspire us to start a blog dedicated solely to political corruption. We would appreciate a link to our blog if you don't mind.We read about your resignation from the Native American office in Harlan County and the corruption that exists within in the fiscal court. We may be working on the same thing in Harlan County as we have also read somethings on other forums that describe your intentions. Please allow us to take the lead on this if possible. We can dedicate more time to this situation. We're not trying to interfere, we're trying to help.Thank you!Richard
If your looking for Political Corruption in Harlan County, simply go outside. The Harlan County Fiscal Court operates in such a manner as to suggest it is above the law. Complaints are made; grievences filed---no action what so ever. I applaud your stance and welcome the citizens from the New Kentucky Blog in their search for political justice. But political change in Harlan County rests almost soley in the hands of Harlan County citizens. As long as voters can be manipulated and bought off, nothing will change. Every concerned voter in Harlan should form a "broom" squad and meet outside the Courthouse for some political spring cleaning.
