The Ridgetop Shawnee Tribe of Indians are having a gathering August 9th at 11am to 5pm in Manchester Kentucky. We are proud to be holding this gathering in Clay County Kentucky.
Everyone is welcome, so if you don't have nothing to do or if you would like to hang-out with a bunch of Indians, stop by.
The tribal leaders will be on-hand to answer any and all of your questions in regards to; enrollment, genealogical services, history and anything else you can think to ask us.
We hope that this particular gathering will be the largest gathering of Kentucky Indian People in our Commonwealth's history. Sure Kentucky hosts many pow-wows and Indian festivals but we are gathering Kentucky's Indian population.
That's great Shack. I'm here in Clay County and would like to attend. Where will the Ridgetop Shownee Tribal gathering of August 9th be in Manchester,Clay County? Kenneth Stepp.

Okay, I believe that would be Rawlings-Stinson Park in the middle of town on the road to the hospital. Also, there is a park out of town at Beech Creek Recreation Center, which is larger. Clay County is thinly populated, but we do have more than one park.
