The latest installment of results from our most recent survey on Gay marriage, Mountaintop Removal and experience shows that all political groups in Kentucky agree on one thing; experience matters. The results are so clear that no-one can deny that experience may be the most important element in the Democratic primary for US Senate.
Of course Daniel Mongiardo has the experience to.....
lead Kentucky into the next decade. Many are already taking sides and so far it appears Mongiardo is winning this fight. I have found that Conway's big endorsements from our mainstream Democratic officials may have backfired a bit. Most people in Rural Kentucky seem to think that Yarmuth's endorsement in particular will backfire on Conway. We will just have to wait and see.
The results kind of surprised me. I figured the ideological split between Liberal and Moderates would show itself in this survey and it did in regards to mountaintop removal and Gay marriage. But in regards to experience the partisan reality subsided and commonsense prevailed.
Does Experience matter in the 2010 Democratic Primary for US Senate?
- Yes -- 70%
- No -- 30%
Political ideology (Experience Matters? Yes) There you have it folks, experience matters. So it would be wise for the Mongiardo campaign to exploit the fact that Jack Conway has very little experience. Serving on boards and committees and running for office does not count as experience. Experience is serving the people in an official capacity and Daniel Mongiardo has served the people of Kentucky for a decade or better. This is not a personal issue or a personal attack on Conway, its just basic facts. If we can not argue the facts without personal attacks then why are we blogging to begin with? If we are going to personally attack each other every-time we disagree, why do it on the blogs? Why not meet face to face and solve these personal issues like men. So I will wait and see what I am called this time; a drunk? an illiterate hillbilly?, a hot-headed fool (might deserve that from time to time), and so on. This will be the last time I will make a personal plea to stop the personal attacks, it's boring as hell. The situation is also getting so personal it is beginning to straddle the boundaries of slander and I will NOT be slandered. Take that any way you want it guys.

Shack,
I used to love reading the blogs. Now I hate them because they do not offer facts anymore. God help me for saying this but I kind of wish Mark Nickolas would revive the Bluegrass Report.
It is just a matter of time before someone is sued.

I try my best not to pay attention to personal stuff. I have been guilty of doing the same thing but quickly realized that I was just waisting everyone's time and it was wrong for me that.
I am a private person NOT a public figure. I just write a stupid blog and that does not make you a public figure open to endless slanderous personal attacks.
It is getting to a point were I can not ignore it any longer. I have many different interests outside of blogging and these personal attacks are starting to effect those interests. So something has to be done about it.
I will wait and see of it stops. You can disagree with me all day long. But this personal thing is crossing the line.
