We Should Support Governor Beshear's "MAYBE" Plan to Increase Cigarette Tax
UPDATE: Looks like its a maybe plan not a definite plan.
Now we have a way of generating much needed revenue and it is a tax increase, hopefully, the red and blue can agree on. Governor Steve Beshear is planning on pushing for a higher Kentucky cigarette tax and we should all be vocal in support of his plan.
This would be a harmless tax increase, but I expect the right to blast Beshear to mars for the attempt because they all walk the party line no matter what. This could help pull this Commonwealth out of a certain economic disaster and who will suffer? The people, the mentally challenged, children, the elderly and everyone else who does make 100K a year.
It is time to put our differences aside for once and join together in this fight for a higher cigarette tax, who knows it might force me to quit.

Man did the Kos kiddies hand you your ass on a silver platter! That must have been hu-foocking-miliating to have a bunch of 12 year olds with keyboards schooling ya!

And you should have said North America, not United States.
Oh, and apparently you meant 48.3%, not 65% . . . and apparently you don't know shit about the subject you claim to be an expert on.
Kudos to your mentor, what's-his fuck, he did a great job teaching you! HA!
