Pineville Mayor Bobby Madon: "We've been so fortunate to have wonderful black people,"
Do what?? Fortunate to have wonderful black people! I am not even going to analyze that comment because I will be the one to get it. As we reported here in March, the KKK is planning a 3 day event in Pineville called "Aryan Bash 2008" and since the first story drafted about the subject Pineville Mayor Bobby Madon's phone has been ringing off the hook. He is now singing a different tune about how welcome the KKK really is in Pineville, Madon now says the Klan will NOT be allowed to hold a three day rally.
But the last quote from Madon in today's Lexington Herald Leader article takes the cake.
"We've been so fortunate to have wonderful black people," http://www.kentucky.com/779/story/366109.html

He's certainly not speaking like someone who's thought through how his words might sound, but I've read both these articles through and just don't see where he's anywhere close to being a supporter of these kooks.
Is he best PR person in the world, no, but he's a mayor of a very small town. Should we expect him to be?

He is a idiot through and through and after the feds get done with him, oh brother!

Is he one of those who will tell you that their best friend or whatever is Black, but can't give a name?

His idea of wonderful Black people are the ones that stay in Four Mile.

Madon is your classic class clown. He has never changed since high school. He was always causing problems for the teachers and other students. He was obnoxious, and actually noxious too. His delusions of grandeur have kept him on a weird level. He is more of a megalomaniac than Sadam ever could have been. I am glad that I have long since been away from Pineville due to its present leader. I hope things get better. Madon must know an awful lot of bad stuff on his wonderful beloved supporters. There is absolutely no way good people can support a nut like this man. I guess he has just done them so many favors they (his friends)worry about being identified. Might take them down with him!!!! Anybody out there going to come to his aid? We'll see who steps up to bat.

To Cyberbilly,
You must think very lowly of small towns. Better start counting the number of small towns in the Commonwealth. You might be surprised to find that the state is made up of mostly (small towns). I am sure you could care less what they think of you. But even a poor blogger must know some hitory, and I am sure you know that small towns sometimes produce very able leaders. Though I have heard this guy in Pineville is a real tooty- fruity when it comes to grey matter upstairs.

I use to live in Pineville several years ago. Madon was the fearless leader then and destroyed the town. Everybody was finally glad to see him retire or we thought. The town was finally about to make a turn around and then the good church people at the Baptist church there in Pineville stepped in and talked their hero into running again. Well,,,they bought their man into office and what I hear probably into Federal Prison along with many others. I wonder if these fine christians will visit him in prison? the answer is NO. Now that he has gotten caught again, yes again. He was convicted of 33 counts of embezzlement several years ago and was bought a pardon from the Wilkerson administration by a local business man there, the good people at P'ville Baptist don't back what he's doing. Oh yea, the wonderful black people. Could it be that some of those are his family??? I'll leave that for you to find out. Madon is sick, nasty, ignorant and as crooked as they come.

There isnt that much news in our lil secluded town down here below yall... Dont no what alls going on up there But if he is as bad as yall say .WHY not impeach him..

I was around when they shot MLK and, as they still do today, they were lying to us then about all sorts of crap. MLK was a dirty commie, out to savage all our white women, and more. They spouted bullshit, and then even more bullshit.
Blacks could not drink at a white water fountain, buy popcorn or drinks at the white concession stand at the movie theater where they had to sit in the balcony, nor could they buy lunch inside a restaurant or pool hall. You know the story, pure racial discrimination on all fronts. It was just commonly accepted, and we were all indoctrinated (brainwashed ), from the cradle, to believe that vile rhetoric. Indians, breeds, Mexicans, Jews, and Germans fared just a little better, but none of us were considered quite human.
Things have changed for the better in this country. Some of us finally caught on. If THEY can be treated like that, then we ALL can be treated like that. But some ignorant shits still haven’t gotten the message!
Mostly conservative and republican rednecks (they live in the big city too) who still can‘t get it through their punkin’ heads that they ain‘t no better than the rest of us!
We still got a way to go. This country still has a hell of a lot of faults. We still get whacked with that “unpatriotic” crap when we don’t fall in lock step with those flag waving hypocrites. Many are still too indoctrinated to see that they are being led by the nose, and slobber like a dog when they ring our bell.
Your mayor needs a lesson. Just sayin’

The Man above the law; Mr. Madon, was found guilty back in 1987 of over 100 counts of stealing or misusing public money. He faked some kind of illness, and his physician at that time confirmed to everyone that Madon had aplastic anemia. People of all professions, particularly those who most probably owed the mayor personal favors, wrote letter upon letter to the judge to have mercy on this fine man, even though he stold their money. Well, to avoid additional
federal charges, the judge ruled on one conviction. Some small trivial charge. A few
weeks later, one of our most illustrious democratic governors pardoned Mr. Madon. That is about as packaged as I can put it without writing too much. Hey guys, the moral of the story is simple, if you will promise to always do me a favor, like get my kid out of a speeding ticket, or don't put him in jail when he sells dope to kids, or black top my drive way for free, I don't care what you do with my tax money after I pay your clerk. So, since this is the great American Way, leave Mr. Madon alone, because my son needs a job at the Water Company.

You people down in the ghetto area of Pineville will get the message soon. People like your mayor, this Madon guy, are really good leaders. They have their faults, but they usually know best what the people really want. I have family in D.C., and they love Marion Barry. We all know that he was unjustly accused of Cocaine use and sale, but he made a great comeback. So, do not despair great people of Pineville, Madon will overcome his problem, especially with the help I hear he is getting from Hal Rogers.
Posted by: | April 05, 2008 at 12:42 PM
Hey 1242, I am afraid that Hal has enough problems than to take on the defense of a Mayor who has a felony background, I'm sorry, that he was pardoned. A mayor whose eldest son was (like daddy), was accused of
STEALING water when he was in charge of the Pineville Utility Commission. A mayor whose younger son has been in and out of court for various charges pertaining to the drug trade. And now, low and behold, a mayor whose grandson was busted just two months ago
for selling oxycontin. How can you terrible people say these things about such an illustrious, well respected family?By the way, the Mayor never misses a funeral or a wedding. You got to give him credit for that.

I keep hearing the feds. are coming. When will they be here? Anybody heard?
Posted by: Taxpayer | April 05, 2008 at 02:39 PM
To your headline We were not so fortunate where I grew up in Covington. Plenty of good black people but I'm just sayin.

No one knows when the master will call. But it is well known in Clay County that Mayor Dog White was watched for two years before he paid the piper. He is now living out his life in a prison, not in Manchester, but out West, far away from his grandchildren. Justice comes to all men.

I wonder how it feels to live most of your life out, in a way that you do unto others anyway you want, as long as it pleases you.
Then, one day, you wake up and find that it has all been for absolutely nothing, and you find yourself all alone, with most of your friends jumping ship daily. How sad life becomes to some of the people on earth. Do they really bring it upon themselves? Maybe in the final cut, they will simply say, "the devil made me do it."
Posted by: | April 05, 2008 at 06:28 PM
We just keep hearing that the feds will be here anyday and anyday comes and goes. I have lost faith in our elected officials and will no longer vote for someone without checking them out first. Most people know who the bad eggs are and elect them anyway. I hope we see alot of them go soon and I pray not two years.
Posted by: Taxpayer | April 05, 2008 at 06:39 PM
Good answer, taxpayer. But that is the problem. People do not ever check out the candidates. Three questions to prove the point. And I'll bet there is not 5% of the readers on this blog able to answer correctly. Here goes; What does Hillary Clinton think about the death penalty?
What does Obama think about income taxes?
What does McCain think about abortion?
You see, 99.9% of all voters ask someone else who they should vote for, or like race horses, they choose the one that either sounds better or looks better. Lord help this doomed nation. My friend, you have lost faith in those who tell you how to vote. Try the next time finding out for yourself, and follow your heart, not the crowd.
Posted by: | April 05, 2008 at 07:08 PM
7:08 You are so correct on that one. I can't answer any of the questions that you have posted. So today I will look into those questions and find out for myself. If my candidate lets me down then shame on me for not checking them out. And this time I will not take the position of the nightly news, I will check them out from all sources. Thanks for giving me some questions to begin working on.

Taxpayer, if everyone would look at the world as you and I try, Oh what a wonderful
world this would be! 708
Posted by: | April 05, 2008 at 07:26 PM
7:26 I like to find good in everyone. I guess I just don't see or understand the big picture. I'm learning though and not liking what I see. If the feds come and carry them away then I hope someone can come in and repair the damage that has been done. I hope that we find some true, honest leaders and advance this area.

Cyberhillbilly lives near West Liberty and grew up near Hyden. So he knows a thing or two about small towns.
Posted by: | April 05, 2008 at 09:51 PM
In that case, Cyberhillbilly migh offer Mr. Madon some help or advice since he is the expert on small towns. I sure hope none of his children ever become citizens of small towns seeing how little Cyber. thinks of people from such.
Posted by: | April 05, 2008 at 11:34 PM
You should see headline story in Wed. Mboro Daily. Madon has changed his mind now. He is a real leader. His mind is not good. The funny part is that his mind never was good.
The only sad thing in this whole story is that of those people who owe Madon because he has the goods on them. They are doomed with him.
