Governor Steve Beshear's Ethics Reform Bill Passes House Without Opposition

As promised, Governor Steve Beshear (D) has pushed through the House a comprehensive ethics reform bill. HB 250 passed without opposition in the House today 94-0.

Also this bill will provide more robust whistle-blower protection, an increased amount in regards to personal gifts to public servants, state employees will not be able to seek employment from individuals that they were directly involved with on the job and expanded jurisdiction for the Executive Branch ethics code that will cover all boards with salaried members and regulatory panels.

THIS IS GOOD,BUT LET US SEE IF THE GOVERNOR MR.BEASHER CAN FOLLOW HIS OWN REFORM ACTS.IN THE CAMPAIN AGAINST THE MOST HONOURABLE FOR.GOV.ERINE FLETCHER, MR.BEASHER STATED HE WOULD NEVER USE THE STATE PLANE FOR PERSONAL OR CAMPAIN USE. YET WONCE, POSSIBLY TWICE THIS WEEK IN THE ALEXDER - SMITH RACE HE DID CAMPAIN USING THE STATE PLANE AND MONEY.THE REFORM ACT PROBLY ISN'T WORTH THE PAPER IT IS WRITTEN ON ANY WAY. LOOKING AT FORMER GOVERNORS IN KY,ATTONEY GENERAL AS WELL WHEN DID ETHICS REALLY MATTER TO THEM IN THE FIRST PLACE.BRO.JOHNNY EMBRY
