As the talking turned into walking our Unions have had tunnel vision for only one goal, to fire our corrupt Republican Governor Ernie Fletcher. Steve Beshear and the Democratic ticket is enjoying a massive GOTV effort courtesy our Kentucky Unions.
This past weekend our Unions were hitting the streets and throwing huge rallies for our Democratic candidates. Democratic nominee for Secretary of State Bruce Hendrickson enjoyed a great reception in Pikeville as the region's United Steel Workers rallied in support of the Democratic candidates. Hendrickson was the only nominee in attendance.
Democratic rallies in Eastern Kentucky echoed issues from the gubernatorial race and the race for secretary of state. Straight ticket voting is becoming a hot button issue and Grayson's lazy remark has some people hot under the collar.
I am hearing normal folk talk about the election, that is a good sign in these parts, Republican voters are getting excited about Steve Beshear and Daniel Mongiardo. Lets see if the push will continue, if so, it should be lights out for most if not all of the Republican candidates.
KNA sure could use a lot of help! I know they are anxiously awaiting the election. Hopefully Governor Beshear will endorse a new overtime law so we can have some damn justice. At least I know Daniel has been speaking about it. That seems to be the only hope for the nurses down here. ARH wants to bust the unions and sell out - they don't give two sh*ts about patient care.
