Obama and Prophecy
President Obama's speech in Egypt has the anti-christ crowd going crazy. Right wingers are going nuts over Obama's references to the Koran and his effort to build new bridges with the Muslim world. Many are trying to tie him to the anti-christ. Well I don't believe he can be the anti-christ and I will tell you why.
We will write about Daniel 9:27 and what it means to us, now.
This is ONLY one way to think about it.
Daniel 9:27 describes a time of peace brokered by one man for a period of one week and this peace treaty will be broken in the middle of week. Or a period of 3.5 years. This is part of the foundation of the 7 days or years of Daniel.
Daniel 9-27 And he will make a firm covenant with the many for one week, but in the middle of the week he will put a stop to sacrifice and grain offering; and on the wing of abominations will come one who makes desolate, even until a complete destruction, one that is decreed, is poured out on the one who makes desolate.
We can look at Daniel's prophecy and tie a few things together. "On the wings of abominations will come one who makes desolate", this is a very important statement. I believe the term "wings of abominations" describes the great woman with the wings of a great eagle in Revelations and of course the "one who makes desolate" is the anti-christ or beast. Daniel did not say "he" who makes the covenant is "he" who makes desolate, he says "will come one". The king who brokers the peace treaty will not be the anti-christ and we will elaborate below. We have to look at the book of Revelations to understand this verse
NOTE:The best way to explain Revelations is think of a man walking down the street in the 1st century, he was met by an angel who took him to Heaven. He was sit down in front a huge plasma screen tv and told to write what he saw. So all the mystery of Revelations is self induced. Now parts of Revelations is not meant to be understood by man, but Revelations encourages men to think and seek the knowledge of when the end times is near.
In Revelations 12-1 itsays a great woman will have 12 stars on her crown, I believe these twelve stars could represent the 12 Presidents of the United States from Truman to Obama. Truman was of course the President when the new nation of Israel was born. I am not saying that Obama is the last President of the United States. He may be the last president who supports Israel in any way. This verse describes this great woman in great detail. BUT we should also look at the parable of the fig tree to understand the twelve stars. In short the fig tree will bloom (new nation of Israel) and that generation that witnessed this rebirth of Israel or the folks who see the fig tree bloom will not pass, they will see the return of Christ.
Luke 21:29-32 29 He told them a parable. "See the fig tree, and all the trees. When they are already budding, you see it and know by your own selves that the summer is already near. Even so you also, when you see these things happening, know that the Kingdom of God is near. Most assuredly I tell you, this generation will not pass away until all things are accomplished."
That generation is the Greatest Generation from WW2 and they are passing on as they become older. 12 stars or twelve Presidents, it is just a semblance's of time and the parable of the fig tree ties it together.
12-1 And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars:
12-2 And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered.
12-3 And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.
12-4 And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.
12-5 And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.
12-6 And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.
12- 1 describes the woman as clothed in the sun and moon under her feet. I have a theory that this great woman represents the United States. The term "moon under her feet" might described this woman's accomplishments as a nation, we are the only country to land on the moon. Like I said, Revelations should be taken literally in a sense. 12-6 speaks of the place prepared by GOD for the woman and they shall feed her 1203 days, This, I believe is simply another reference to the 3.5 year period of peace.
In Revelation 12-14 John speaks of the woman who had the wings of a great eagle, this woman gave birth to a child that would rule along side GOD in Heaven. It speaks of the dragon trying his best to kill the child as soon as it was born. This great woman who had the wings of a great eagle protected the child or Israel, the essence of Christ or Christ, he is the everlasting King of the Jews. I believe this child to be Israel and the woman the United States. 12-17 describes, I believe, the foundation of the United States. We were created to carry the word of GOD, religious freedom built upon the word of GOD and Jesus Christ. We are not that country any longer.
12-13 And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child.
12-14 And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.
12-17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
I believe this woman and the king who rules her will broker this great peace treaty and 12-14 describes the 3.5 years (or 35 years) of peace again, represented by a time(1) and times(2) and a half (.5) = 3.5
Later in Revelations it speaks of the woman who sitteth in the waters of the great city with many nations, multitudes and tongues. Now the great woman is described as a whore and is partially describes as" "THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH". Remember Daniel 9:27: on the wing of abominations will come one. I believe that Daniel 9:27 ties everything together. I believe this section of Revelations describes New York City. We jump ahead to Revelations 17-15 to understand this. Also, if you continue to read about this woman who sitteth in the waters next to this great city, it is obvious that this city is the greatest city on earth. Like I said, parts of Revelations should be taken literally.
17-15 And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.
17-1 And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters:
17-5 And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.
After the 3.5 years of peace (or 35 years) I believe we will officially turn our country over to the beast. We will end our relationship with Israel. I believe this is the point in time that we may see the real anti-christ. So I believe that the king who brokers this great treaty and the true anti-christ are two different men. After the treaty is broken we will see the anti-christ or "one who makes desolate" carried on the wing of ABOMINATIONS. If Obama is the king who brokers this peace he can not be the anti-christ. There are many theories about the anti-christ this is just one of many. But here is the clincher, In 17-10 John speaks of 7 kings, 5 are fallen, one is and one is yet to come. 17-11 identifies the beast or anti-christ. It says the anti-christ or beast is the 8th King and is of the 7th King. I believe we will see this king after the 3.5 years of the peace treaty. So the one who "is" has to be the king who brokers the treaty, this King could very well be Obama, if he pulls off this historical treaty.
17-8 The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.
17-9 And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth.
17-10 And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.
17-11 And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.
17-12 And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.
17-13 These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast.
I think the king who "is" is the king that will broker the great peace or the 6th king. The 8th king is satan and the 7th king or anti-christ lays the foundation for satan. So if Obama is the 6th king, he can not be the anti-christ. I am not saying he is the 6th King, but Obama is as popular as Kennedy and in this day and age that may be very important. Now at the end of this great peace we see the rapture.
17-14 These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.
Now at this time the woman is no longer protected by GOD, it is over.
17-15 And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.
17-16 And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire.
17-17 For God hath put in their hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled.
17-18 And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth.
Chapter 18 speaks of the systematic destruction of this city, the country and the civilized world. This is not the end of the earth, this is the end of the current earth age and a new will begin. Jesus will rule for 1000 years.
Revelations should be read not avoided. The book should be considered a road map and followed as a chronological record of what will pass. We only have one solid clue as to when this earth age will end. Christ said that the generation who witnesses the fig tree bloom, or the rebirth of the Nation of Israel, will not pass and will see his return.
Base everything off of that fact and everything else just falls into line.
